The Challenge
Government platforms are built to solve problems.
But they rarely build relationships.
People use government apps because they need to, not because they enjoy interacting with them.
Most public platforms share the same perception.
Communication feels bureaucratic.
Interfaces feel transactional.
Information feels difficult to understand.
Branding feels institutional instead of human.
Whether booking a bus ticket, making a digital payment, or applying for a government certificate,
the experience often feels functional but emotionally distant.
WTX India believed government services did not need to sound like government.
They needed to sound like the people they serve.
Instead of treating Mee Ticket, T Wallet, and MeeSeva as separate products, we built a common
philosophy.
Human-first government communication.
The Objective
Our goal was to transform three government-backed digital platforms into brands that citizens
could understand, trust, and genuinely enjoy engaging with.
The strategy focused on:
- Breaking the stereotype of cold government communication
- Making public services easier to understand
- Creating culturally native content for Telugu audiences
- Increasing digital engagement and organic reach
- Building trust through clarity instead of complexity
- Making government platforms feel approachable rather than intimidating
The Execution
Speaking Like Telangana
Every platform adopted communication rooted in local culture, everyday language, and relatable
storytelling.
Instead of formal announcements, content answered one simple question.
"What does this mean for me?"
Information became visual.
Processes became simple.
Government became conversational.
Mee Ticket
Turning Ticket Booking Into Hyderabad Pride
Mee Ticket offers bus bookings, darshan tickets, tourism experiences, and local attractions.
Rather than promoting transactions, the platform celebrated experiences.
Content revolved around:
- Hyderabad pride
- Tourist destinations
- Local landmarks
- Festivals
- Nostalgia
- Telugu internet humour
- User-generated content
- Meme marketing
Instead of behaving like a government booking platform, Mee Ticket began feeling like a page
celebrating everything Hyderabad.
It stopped selling tickets.
It started selling experiences.
T Wallet
Making Fintech Feel Like Middle-Class Comedy
T Wallet's strongest feature was practical.
A credit card loading fee of less than 2%.
But numbers rarely create emotional engagement.
WTX India introduced Budget Padmanabham, a character inspired by the everyday habits of
middle-class families.
Using humour, influencers, and culturally rooted storytelling, financial literacy became
entertaining.
Instead of explaining fintech through technical language, the platform translated savings into
situations every Telugu household recognised.
People laughed first.
Then they understood the product.
MeeSeva
Turning Government Information Into Everyday Knowledge
MeeSeva helps citizens access certificates, applications, and government services digitally.
The challenge was not awareness.
It was comprehension.
WTX India adopted a Telugu-first communication strategy that replaced bureaucratic language with
citizen-friendly content.
Content included:
- Step-by-step guides
- Educational carousels
- FAQ formats
- Process explainers
- Citizen awareness campaigns
- Visual service breakdowns
Government information became clear, practical, and easy to share.
Rather than overwhelming people with notifications, MeeSeva became a trusted digital guide.
The Results
Across all three platforms, government communication became more accessible, relatable, and
engaging.
MeeSeva grew into a community of more than 29,000 followers.
The platform reached over 1.65 million people, while a single Telugu educational carousel
generated 860,000 organic views.
Mee Ticket strengthened emotional engagement by connecting digital services with Hyderabad's
culture, tourism, and everyday experiences.
T Wallet transformed technical financial messaging into relatable entertainment, making digital
payments and saving money easier to understand.
